Peer observation
A practice for individual and collective teaching professional development
Peer observation
This web space is the result of the research: Peer observation as teaching professional development: Towards a collaborative culture in primary and secondary schools (PeerObserv), funded by the Ministerio de Ciencia e Innovación and carried out in collaboration with the Department of Education of Catalonia and the Government of the Balearic Islands, between the years 2021-2024.

In the first section you will find conceptual information about peer observation (PO) and an explanation of its benefits, based on published evidence. Next, you will find the process for implementing the OEI in the educational center developed, as well as resources to facilitate the process. The next two sections focus on research. On the one hand, the previous searches carried out both in Catalonia and the Balearic Islands are explained, and on the other, the research linked to the project is detailed: what are the objectives, the team and the results obtained. Here you can access published articles and communications. Finally, there is a final section where general resources linked to the PO, both our own and those of others, are offered.
